Description

We are excited about The Academy's partnership with SCROC (SoCal Regional Occupational Center)! These classes are planned and taught by the talented SCROC teachers. www.socalroc.com

 

This introductory course allows students to realize how important emergency personnel are! They will learn how first responders respond in emergencies while learning lifesaving skills such as CPR, first aid, and scene management. Students will also learn what it takes physically in this essential job. Who knows, these participants might be future heroes?!

Please note dates! This camp runs on the following SIX days: June 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23. 

Please enroll your student in the grade they will be in the fall of 2026. This camps is for students entering grades 7, 8 and 9. Non-ESUSD students welcome!

Each session is limited to 18 students. Book now to avoid disappointment!

SUPPORT THE CAMP THAT SUPPORTS YOUR SCHOOL! Our camps are taught by ESUSD teachers or Ed! associates, so your enrollment supports local teachers and community members. All profits go directly back to ESUSD through the grant Ed! pays to the district.

 

ACCOMMODATIONS:
The Academy is not part of the El Segundo Unified School District (ESUSD) and therefore cannot offer accommodations or special resources that your student receives from the district during the school year. If your student requires special accommodations, to avoid a cancellation fee, please get in touch with us at [email protected] to discuss before enrolling in a camp. 

If you would like to provide an aide to support your student, please allow enough time for the aide to be cleared by ESUSD Human Resources, which requires the aide to be fingerprinted and background-checked.
