Art Jumble is an action-packed, hands-on course designed for middle school students to explore a wide variety of art materials and techniques. Through engaging, project-based lessons, students will experiment with different mediums while building confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Students will explore drawing, painting, sculpture, and collage, using materials such as pencil, colored pencil, pastels, acrylic paint, watercolor, clay, and mixed media. This course encourages curiosity, experimentation, and creative risk-taking allowing students to discover new interests and develop their artistic skills.
This camp will run for 2 weeks, July 6-10 and July 13-17, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm each day. You can sign your student up for both weeks because the projects will be different each week.
This course is taught by the incredibly talented Mrs. Adams. Her approach to teaching brings out the best in students with positivity, inspiration, creativity and the joy of learning. Mrs. Adams currently teaches Yearbook, AP 2D, Sculpture and Media Design at El Segundo High School and the after-school Yearbook class at El Segundo Middle School.
Please enroll your student in the grade they will be in the fall of 2026.
All art supplies are included in the registration cost.
SUPPORT THE CAMP THAT SUPPORTS YOUR SCHOOL! Our camps are taught by ESUSD teachers or Ed! associates, so your enrollment supports local teachers and community members. All profits go directly back to ESUSD through the grant Ed! pays to the district. Assisting the teachers are motivated ESHS high school students who are working to get an internship on their high school transcript. Our program is a win on so many levels!
