What is Model UN?
Model UN is a simulation of the UN General Assembly and its other multilateral bodies where students perform an ambassador role while debating topics such as gender equality, climate action, global health, and more! This program culminates with a conference where delegate teams debate other middle school programs in Southern CA.
Program Details and Cost:
Thursdays weekly, beginning 9/5 from 3:00p.m. - 4:00p.m. @ ESMS
Includes one additional 3 hour preparation boot camp (on a Sat TBA)
Includes a one day delegate conference 12/7 or 12/8
(Parents responsible for transportation to and from the conference in Whittier.)
Cost: $400 (includes delegate fees, boot camp and all materials)

Please Note: Rising 8th grade students get priority registration thru May 15th (students who will be in 8th grade in the 2024-25 school year). Rising 7th graders may enroll starting May 16th if spaces are available.
